The government adopted decisions to recognize four employer organizations as nationally representative for a period of 4 years. These are the Bulgarian Industrial Capital Association, the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, the Bulgarian Industrial Association and the Confederation of Employers and Industrialists in Bulgaria.
The Confederation of Independent Trade Unions in Bulgaria and the Confederation of Labor "Podkrepa" have been recognized as nationally representative organizations of workers and employees for a period of 4 years.
The government refused to recognize the Union for Business Initiative and the Bulgarian Employers' Association for Innovative Technologies as nationally representative employer organizations, as the two organizations do not meet all the criteria regulated in the Labor Code.
