By a decision of the Council of Ministers of yesterday, January 29, 2025, the Bulgarian Industrial Capital Association (BICA) has been recognized for the sixth time in a row as a nationally representative organization of employers. We thank our members for the trust - over 10,000 companies and over 100 industry chambers, representative in 70 economic activities, representation in almost 180 municipalities, who authorized us to represent them in the bodies on a tripartite basis.
During the current mandate until 2029, we will work tirelessly to improve the competitiveness of the Bulgarian economy, to develop the real sector and to recognize the importance of entrepreneurship in ensuring sustainable economic growth and quality employment.
We call on Bulgarian statesmen to take immediate action aimed at ensuring predictable and favorable conditions for the development of economic activity, reducing administrative burdens and improving the business environment, and encouraging investment, so that we can concentrate on what we do best – producing products, providing services, providing quality jobs and growth for the Bulgarian economy.
Bulgaria’s accession to the eurozone will provide us with a predictable and stable macroeconomic framework. We declare our willingness and readiness to be an active partner of Bulgarian institutions and to support them in their efforts, so that this can happen from the beginning of 2026.
