BICA announced the nominations for the twelfth edition of the awards
"Business to the Rules"
The Bulgarian Industrial Capital Association (BICA) has announced the nominations for the twelfth "Business to the Rules" awards for 2024. This year, the ceremony will be held on March 27. The awards of the most representative employer organization in our country are presented in three categories - "For a regulatory act or administrative practice that leads to limiting the shadow economy and improving the business environment", "For a person or organization that has contributed to limiting and preventing the informal economy through an active position" and "For a journalist or media that has contributed to changing public attitudes towards the informal economy".
The aim of the annual competition is to highlight examples of success in the fight against the informal economy and to recognize leading institutions and individuals with an active position and contribution to limiting the informal economy. The awards are part of the overall activity of the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) to increase public intolerance towards the informal economy, encourage active actions in this direction and promote the constructive role of business in society in improving the socio-economic environment.
The nominations for the awards were made through a broad public consultation among the public, members of the Bulgarian Industrial Capital Association, all social partners, members of the Public Council "Business to the Rules", which includes representatives of a number of state institutions, and the media. The winners will be selected through secret voting by a large expert jury, which is composed of 100 prominent individuals: prominent economists, public figures, media representatives, members of the National and Control Council of the BICA, of the Public Council "Business to the Rules", etc.
