BICA develops measures to support Bulgarian business and entrepreneurship through international exchange with partner organizations in the context of participation in European projects. Representatives of the Association participate in all monitoring committees of the operational, national and cross-border cooperation programs for the new programming period 2014 - 2020.
Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (RSPP)
In 2010, BICA became one of the founding organizations of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, which was joined by nationally represented employers’ organizations from thirteen countries in Central and Eastern Europe. The Council functions as an advisory body. 
Its goal is to facilitate the establishment of sustainable connections and mutually beneficial cooperation between national employers’ and entrepreneurs’ unions, to exchange experience in the regulation of social and labor relations and related economic matters, as well as to address other issues of mutual interest, including the development of anti-crisis measures in view of the similar economic challenges faced by the countries in the region.
The Association continues to expand its international presence and influence. As a member of SGI Europe — an official partner in the social dialogue of the European Commission — BICA maintains regular contacts with the institutions and advisory committees of the European Union, participates in the drafting and amendment of regulations, directives, and other legislative acts shaping the European business environment.
International Organisation of Employers (IOE)
BICA is a member of the International Organisation of Employers (IOE) and, through it, of the International Labour Organization (ILO). The IOE represents business interests at international forums, seeking a balance between labour and social policy and accelerated economic growth. Membership in the IOE significantly enhances BICA’s expertise in the national social dialogue.
European Economic and Social Committee (EESC)
The Association has its own representatives in the European Economic and Social Committee (EESC), which provides an opportunity to express opinions on issues related to the European Union's economic and social policy and to participate in the political life of the Community.
Representatives of the Bulgarian Industrial Capital Association also take part in the meetings of the European Social Fund (ESF) and the Ad Hoc Group under the ESF in support of the social partners. This ensures more comprehensive access to information regarding the opportunities for utilizing funds from the European Social Fund.
International Congress of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (ICIE) 
In 2009, the Bulgarian Industrial Capital Association (BICA) joined the International Congress of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs (ICIE), which holds official status with the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), the Interparliamentary Assembly of the Commonwealth of Independent States (IPA CIS), as well as established long-term cooperative relations with the International Center of Scientific and Technical Information, the International Union of Commodity Producers, and others. This affiliation has naturally expanded the Association’s international contacts.
Through its representative in the ICIE Presidium, the Bulgarian Industrial Capital Association participates in high-level decision-making processes related to the protection of the interests of industrialists and entrepreneurs, the coordination of their activities in the context of market-oriented reforms, as well as direct involvement in the development of national economies, the establishment of an appropriate legal framework, and the advancement of mechanisms for interaction among market participants in a market economy.
Key areas of activity of the International Congress of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs include providing consulting, legal, and scientific support to its members, and the development and implementation of scientific, industrial, and investment programs and projects.
