BICA is collecting proposals from businesses for financial measures in response to rising fuel prices.

In connection with the observed increase in fuel prices and its impact on a number of economic activities, the Bulgarian Development Bank (BDB) is conducting a survey on the possibilities to support enterprises by providing additional liquidity and appropriate financial instruments.

In this regard, the Bulgarian Industrial Capital Association (BICA) is collecting proposals from affected enterprises and sectoral organizations regarding possible support mechanisms that could be proposed to BDB for development or adaptation.

Companies are expected to propose suitable financial instruments and measures that could support businesses in the current situation, such as:

  • facilitated credit lines for working capital;
  • refinancing of existing obligations;
  • rescheduling or granting grace periods on current loans;
  • guarantee instruments;
  • specialized financial products for enterprises in the affected sectors;
  • other proposals that would contribute to ensuring liquidity and business stability.

The aim is for BICA to consolidate the received proposals into a common business position and present them to BDB with a view to developing effective support instruments for enterprises.

The initiative is targeted at enterprises from sectors directly affected by rising fuel prices, including transport, logistics, agriculture, tourism, construction, trade, and other activities with high dependence on transport and energy costs.

Companies may submit their proposals by April 6, 2026, via email: office@bica-bg.org

BICA relies on the active participation of the business community to formulate the most appropriate solutions to support enterprises and ensure a stable economic environment.
