BICA deepens cooperation with Hungarian partners during the Third Bulgarian-Hungarian Business Forum in Samokov

The Executive Director of the Bulgarian Industrial Capital Association (BICA) Dobrin Ivanov participated in the Third Bulgarian-Hungarian Business Forum, which is being held within the framework of the initiative "Hungarian Days in Samokov" in the period 27–29 April 2026.
The forum brought together representatives of business, institutions and industry organizations from Bulgaria and Hungary with the aim of promoting trade and economic relations, investments and partnerships between the two countries. The event included discussions, B2B meetings and the exchange of good practices aimed at developing regions as drivers of economic growth.
Dobrin Ivanov took part in the discussion panels dedicated to institutional support for bilateral economic cooperation and the interaction between business and higher education as a key factor for sustainable regional development. A Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Bulgarian Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Bács-Kiskun County (Hungary) during the forum. The document envisages strengthening cooperation between business organizations from both sides through the exchange of economic information, promotion of investments, organization of business delegations and support of partnerships between enterprises, including small and medium-sized companies. The agreement aims to create a sustainable framework for the development of bilateral economic relations and to support the implementation of joint initiatives in areas such as trade, investments, technologies and services.
BICA considers the signing of the memorandum as an important step towards expanding international cooperation and creating new opportunities for Bulgarian business on the Hungarian market, as well as attracting investments to Bulgaria.
